Neon Feathers

Hey everyone!
I did this a few weeks ago, but I wasn't so sure if I liked this design enough to share it with everyone. But in the past few days it kinda grew on me, and now I'm really happy with them!
I don't really have a set 'step-by-step-" on how I did this..After I painted my nails white, I did a dry brushing technique using orange, then purple, then a little black, then white again. Topped off with a matte top coat! I don't know why, but I love using my matte top coat with neon polishes.
I did this dry brushing technique by brushing off most of the nail polish on my brush. Then I painted little brush strokes radiation out from one point on my nail. Since you take off most of the nail polish on your brush while doing this, you will have to repeat this a few times for each color. There isn't a set way to do this technique, which makes it really fun and easy to create something interesting!

Colors I used; (right pic; left-right) "Aloha Girl", "Aloha Dream", "Pineapple Plantation".

Color Club Neon Watermarble

Hey everyone!
I did a fun watermarble using three polishes from Color Club's newest summer collection "Poptastic".
The polishes in this collection are so easy to watermarble with!
I'm so obsessed with these neons. The colors are so bright, even in the shade or inside. Some of them even have a nice shimmer to them, which is most noticeable in "Foxy Mama" (orange).
I ended up taking a ton of photos in different kinds of lighting so you can get a better sense of the colors.
My idea to use these colors together was inspired by @amkuch15 on Instagram! Her watermarble is really awesome. I recommend checking it out..(;

Super bright! (shade)

The three colors I used in this watermarble;
(left-right) "Kapow!", "Foxy Mama, "Not-so-Mellow Yellow". (sun)

You can really see the shimmer in these photos! (sun)

My whole hand is glowing pink! (shade)

I took these photos with the sun directly behind my hand.

You can get these polishes from Color Club's website;
They cost $8 each.

Color Club "Cookies and Cream" Summer 2014

Hey everyone!
Today I have a couple of polishes from one of Color Club's Summer 2014 collections called "Cookies and Cream". This is a limited edition collection consisting of 6 pastel colored polishes. They are all packed with small black glitters, giving the effect of mashed up cookie bits!
These two polishes I have from the collection are pretty much identical in application and formula (besides the color, of course). I think it's safe to assume the other four polishes in this collection are also very similar to these.
The formula was so smooth, application was like butter. Which almost surprised me because of how much glitter there was in the formula. I thought it would be a little "goopy", but it wasn't!
I personally think these polishes are a one coater, but if you do a second thin coat, you can get more "depth" with the glitters, which is pretty cool. I did two coats for both polishes for my photos.

Doodle Nail Art

Hey everyone!
I've been keeping a sketchbook all summer to doodle in, and one day I thought it would be fun to do a doodle on my nails!
So I did just that..
I used a thin tip brush from a craft store to do all the doodles.

What I used;
-Revlon "Snow Bunny"
-Sally Hansen "Black Diamond"

Sally Hansen iHeartNailArt Contest "Liquid Mania"

Hello everyone!
This theme for Sally Hansen's iHeartNailArt contest is "Liquid Mania". I used 3 glitter polishes from their past collections (names listed under the first photo). I topped the design of with their nail art studs.
I got inspired for this design from this outfit I saw on keep.com. I'm so upset it's now out of stock! It's such a cute shirt.

Here's my nails next to the photo of the shirt;

Colors I used for this; "Black Diamond"(black), "Gilty Pleasure"(gold), "Blush Diamond"(pink).

I love how this turned out! I wish I was able to get a better photo of these in the sunlight so I could see the pink holo better, but overcast was all I had to work with!

I hope you're having a great week, thanks for reading!

Gold and Green Tape Mani

Hey everyone!
I decided to do some nail art using some Indie polishes..
I used;
-Crows Toes "Orion"
-Fancy Gloss "Golden Swan"
-Gold macro beads from a craft store
I went for a fun diamond pattern using the striping tape for my two middle fingers and a gradient for the outer two. Then I used the macro beads for some finishing touches.
