Rainbow Honey "The Kraken"

Good evening everyone! I have some photos of a beautiful polish to share with you all.
About a month or two ago I was lucky enough to meet the amazing girls behind the brand of Rainbow Honey. After seeing some of their polishes in person, this one in particular caught my eye and I knew I had to have it! I finally have time to take proper photos of this polish so I can share it with you all!
This one is called "The Kraken". Two coats on its own with top coat.
I love everything about this polish. It doesn't even stain. Although application was a little tough when I was doing my second coat. I suggest shaking the bottle in between layers.
Enjoy the photos!

Neon Watermarble

Hey everyone!
I blame school for my lack of posts. I'm still doing my nails all the time, though! I finally had some time today to take photos of my watermarble nails I did last night. These nails are so fun and bright for such a cold and stressful week!
I used a bunch of the Island Girl polishes I got over the summer when I went to Hawaii.
The watermarble design is super simple, as the polishes dried super fast when making my target in the water. I was going to go for a more detailed, flower-y design, but I'm really digging the simple, bold stripe design! Hey, sometimes less is more, right?
Here are some photos of both my left and right hands. I like the design on my right hand more!

the bottle is glowing..

I hope you all have a great weekend, and if you're going out or even staying in, have some extra fun for me! Time for me to rush off to the studio to get more work done.

Birthday Nails

Hey everyone!
So, last week on the 22nd, I celebrated my 21st birthday! Yay! I did a super cute birthday themed nail art design that I ended up keeping for more than a week.
I used so many polishes for this design, but the two main ones I used as my base for my nail art are OPI "Designer de Better!' (which I'm almost out of! *gasp*) and on top of that I used NCLA "Hollywood Hills Hot Number" which is the best silver glitter ever (in my opinion).
Here are some pics of the design!

A cupcake my roommate left on my desk for me to find after my class! Isn't it huge?! Imagine my face when I saw this. Of course I had to take photos holding it before I could eat it.

Here's a video of the nails in motion!
You can really see the sparkle in this..

Have a great week!

Pink & Green Watermarble

Hey everyone! I'm back with another simple watermarble design. I used Zoya polishes "Ciara" (pink) and "Hunter" (green). I love the colors pink and green together!
I love how light and vibrant the colors of the watermarble design look over the white base compared to my pointer and pinkie fingers which are two shades on their own. It almost looks like I used totally different polishes! These colors are so beautiful on their own and together.
For the pictures in this post, I tried to do something different. I used my really nice camera (Nikon D50) to take these photos. I can't get really close with the lens I have (it's not a macro lens..), so I had to go in and crop them. I wanted to get more used to taking photos of my nails with a bigger and heavier camera.
I like the different feel of these photos from what I usually do. It was really fun, and the photos turned out great (in my opinion at least haha)!
Take a look for yourself and tell me what you think about them!

Pumpkin Nail Art

Hey everyone! I did some very simple nail art today in the spirit of fall and Halloween!
I painted each nail like a pumpkin and then added a jack-o-lantern face on my ring finger. I used Zoya Pixie Dust "Dhara" as the orange base, then added some simple stripes, and a small leaf on each nail, and that was it! Super fun and quick.
"Dhara" is a really pretty orange, perfect for the fall season! It's a matte, textured polish. It also has a beautiful yellow/golden shimmer to it. The shimmer can be seen with and without a topcoat over the polish. In my design I used a thin top coat, so when it dried it gave the orange polish a shine as well as preserved some of the textured feel to it.
Here are a ton of pics!

This photo was taken indoors, next to the window. You can see the yellow shimmer even without direct sunlight.

I took this photo with my phone at night with the flash. I took this right when I was done with the design.

I hope you enjoyed looking at this simple design!

Chocolate Watermarble!

Hey everyone! I did this watermarble using all OPI polishes. These colors remind me of chocolate!
I used "DS Classic", "Nomad's Dream", "I Break for Manicures", and "You Don't Know Jacques!".
The OPI DS glitters marble so well.
Here are some pics, the first two are in shade and the second two are in the sun.

I added some hearts;
All these are in the sun, and the first two show both hands! I'm starting to do full manicures and end up wearing them for a full week. This lasted a whole week with almost no chipping! I got so many compliments.

You can see the holo in "DS Classic" in this photo!

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed this design.
